WiseOceans Academy
Welcome to WiseOceans Academy! We have been delivering marine education sessions, both in person, and virtually for over a decade, and have taught over 10,000 students from 37 countries! Our lessons cover a wide range of topics, are suitable for varying ages and can be adapted for any additional needs. All are taught by experienced Marine Biologists and Educators.

Diverse Learning Tools
Virtual learning gives our educators the option of using lots of tools in their classes that create an engaging and fun session. Our sessions are full of videos, animations, audio recordings and games to give learners an exciting class experience.
Parent Involvement
Unlike traditional in person sessions parents can listen in and get an insight into what their learners are doing. Although we ask parents to remain off the screen, they can listen to what is being taught and help and encourage learners with the additional worksheets we provide.
Collaboration and Engagement
We encourage learners to share stories, answer questions and get involved in lessons by creating a fun and relaxed learning environment. Rather than just having to sit and listen this keeps learners engaged and interested.
Flexibility
Due to the remote access of our sessions, they offer a flexible way of learning. If you have an internet connection and a quiet place to learn you can join our class from anywhere!
Accessibility
Virtual classes often offer a more accessible learning environment for some students. Personal plans can be made with teachers, recording of classes can be rewatched, and volume and chat features can be utilised.
